WELL DONE EVERYONE! HERE'S TO MAY 2010. On Saturday 16th May 2009 between 10am and 1pm we are having a Cake and plant sale plus Table Top sale at Victoria Hall, Ash Hill Road in Ash. This is to raise money for a charity that Luce held close to her heart as we all continue to do. Please come along and have a fun day with the family and help raise money for this cause. If you wish to donate plants and cakes or something towards the raffle please let me know. KathUpdates
ITs over, but the money continues to flood in
24th May 2009What a fantastic day we had. Luce was smiling down on us and we had a hugely successful day.
There were a mass of beautiful cakes and lovely plants and enthusiastic people all wanting to find a bargain.
The money still came rolling in after the day as many that couldn't make it to the sale made wonderful donations.
To date we have raised £740.00 in memory of the beautiful Luce.

2nd May 2009At work Eileen and Gill have been growing Spider plants to sell on the big day, but then Gill suggested we start seeing if we can get rid of some at work. Which is what they did. I think we have now made about £10 in total by selling the small plants.
I much appreciate the efforts of both Gill and Eileen. They have been so supportive from day one. Thank you both so much for your ongoing support.
First £1 made
15th April 2009Today we took the first £1 towards the sale. The lovely ladies at my work have gone all out to start sorting out lots of plants for the sale on 16th May.
One of my colleagues decided she wanted to buy one there and then. So thank you Sarah for donating the £1 to the fund. This will go to the final grand total raised on the day.

The birth of the Luce Wheels Cake and Plant sale
29th March 2009Over a year ago our mum (Dida) decided that she wanted to do something to raise money for the Ovarian Cancer charity in response to Lucy's illness. Lucy was a real inspiration and today her inspiration continues in all of us.
Mum's idea was to have a little sale and coffee morning outside her house but soon realised this was much too small scale and the table top sale idea was born.
So far there has been an overwhelming response from those that knew Lucy but also from so many that never met her.
What we need now is for everyone to pass on the word and get a huge number coming to a fun day out.
Whether it be for a coffee, or to buy a plant and a cake. Come and enjoy the fun and games.

Chloe and I raised this money selling our unwanted items at a boot sale whilst Luce blessed us with glorious sunshine. We had a fun morning together remembering Chloe's lovely Godmother and all the fun times we had with her.

Thank you all so much. We smashed the target. Luce was definitely looking down on us and helping us out. Thank you all for your help, support and donations. All the efforts put in raised a total of £740 and still rising. Heres to next year . Love Kath and Dida.
